Visit Shropshire is the official tourism website for Shropshire, previously known as Shropshire Tourism. Visit Shropshire promotes all the fantastic things to see and do in the county – for both tourists and locals alike.

Following the decision to completely revamp the county’s main tourism brand, Visit Shropshire tendered to agencies to assist in a rebranding project. As a fellow Shropshire-based business, we were delighted to be chosen. The project was a 3-part brief, firstly looking at creating a new name/brand to take Shropshire Tourism to the next level, a new logo that would feature on all marketing assets, and a new website to promote the county’s businesses, events and attractions.

We initially developed a number of new brand names, before Visit Shropshire was chosen. From here we created 8 different concepts for the new logo and brand – 4 of these ideas were chosen to be put forward for a public vote which was presented through printed rollouts at Shrewsbury Food Festival in June 2019, as well as online polls on Facebook and Instagram. Variants of the brand were also created for other areas of the county highlighting the USPs of the areas, including Telford & Ironbridge, and Hills & South.

Following the launch of the new brand, our design and development teams worked to create a completely bespoke WordPress website, which launched in June 2020. The website carries the new branding and tone-of-voice for Visit Shropshire, with features including refined searches for business listings and events, and a payment portal for business memberships for local companies to advertise on the website.


Since the launch of the website in June 2020, Visit Shropshire has seen a tremendous amount of traffic to the website from locals and visitors from throughout the UK who want to visit the area, with hundreds of brochure requests submitted. Visit Shropshire has also come on-board as one of our Website Support clients receiving monthly website hosting and support, with the next phase of the website allowing the company to manage subscription types for businesses wanting to advertise on the website.
