The role

The role holder will work alongside our Managing Director, Client Services Director and Creative Director. Together you will be responsible for growing the Company by generating new business opportunities with new and existing clients. You will be an ambassador for the agency and our work, products, and services.

Your responsibilities will be to build your own pipeline of ongoing leads via prospecting and networking, to develop sales of traditional and digital marketing services, SEO (search engine optimisation), Social Media Advertising and PPC (pay per click management), branding, design, and bespoke websites.

This role will ideally suit someone from a digital or marketing sales background (although is not essential) and offers an excellent working environment as well as a fantastic package with uncapped commission.


The day-to-day responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will focus on the following areas of activity: –

  • Proactively developing own sales pipeline to promote the benefits of marketing and convert new business into the company.
  • Handling inbound enquiries and looking after established clients, ensuring repeat business and identifying up-selling opportunities.
  • Work with the Client Services Director and Client Relationship Team to manage and nurture existing client’s growth through strategic up-selling or cross-selling of services.
  • Source relevant networking events and build them into your lead sourcing activities.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to represent Reech and source leads.
  • Conduct telemarketing to follow up on marketing activities and clean contact databases.
  • Creating proposals, presenting to clients, and closing deals.
  • Ability to conduct incisive desk research into sectors, target companies, and individual prospects.
  • Working closely with the marketing team, you will follow up campaigns, and carry out telemarketing as part of lead generation activities.


  • Proven track record in business development, achieving ambitious revenue targets.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating in a business development role with good working knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Have a strong and well-established network to bring to the role.
  • Articulate and confident communicator – the ability to think quickly and creatively when talking to prospects.
  • Exemplary client service skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships.
  • An instinct for creative selling – we’re not working from scripts, and you will be expected to create tailored approaches for each prospect.
  • Superb communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • A desire to work in a close-knit, highly successful team with clear accountability.
